Copy .jpg to DVD

I have not found an easy way to backup jpeg digital photo's from PC to DVD (-R, +R, whatever). Just trying to archive family pic's in plain vanilla format for posterity. Can it be done w/in XP? Suggestions? Thanks.
 
Roxio CD creator or Flipalbum are two programs good for archiving photos to
CD or DVD
