I am not able to copy (CNTL+V) and image into the body of my email message.

I can "Inset Picture", and / or include an attachment, neither is what I want to do. (too much effort to do a simple task)

What am I overlooking?

Thanking you in advance.

Nothing.
You can copy and paste text but you have to Insert pictures.

Excuse me for being overly simple.......

I have been able to do just the CNTL+C; CNTL+V process in every other email
I use...... Outlook Express; Outlook (work).

I would have presumed that Windows Mail could have at the very least be able
to keep up.

You can't use Copy and Paste for images in Outlook Express, either.

As I said before, it works fine in Windows Live Mail.

I have found the answer to this question in another portion of the Group

"YES YES YES - between advice from Steve & Gary, I solved it. I'm almost
afraid to say what I did for fear of undoing it.

Here you go -
tools
options
security - here you want to UNCHECK "Block images and other external content
in HTML e-mail"
click Apply
OK

That fixed it for me. Hope it sticks.
Susan"

I have tested and it DOES work.

For all,

I found the answer in another part of the Group
