Hi,

How can I get my Win XP Embedded image to be installed from a bootable CD to
my harddisk of my target device? I would like to do the installation to
automated, no user
intervention. The installation shall be done once. In normal use the
harddisk will boot and start Win XP Embedded.

We discussed this issues in last few weeks.
Use google groups to search this NG.

You can make bootable CD with XPe on it that will prepare and extract image
to HDD.

Hi
I use a bootable DOS CD which I boot via USB.
The CD contains ghost.exe and a ghost-image of the disk with XPE.
Ghost.exe is started automatically by Autoexec.bat

To Create the CD I used WinImage (www.winimage.com) and created an
WinImage-image of a bootable harddisk partition (400 MB) with DOS.
With WinImage I injected the ghost-image in the WinImage-image,
then burned with Nero with settings "CD Boot" and "Image file".

A little bit easier than making a bootable XPE-CD.

I have a little problem, maybe someone can help.

The above shall be done on a machine without keyboard and screen.
I want to automaticly restart after ghost is done and let XPE run.
This means, eject the CD then reboot.
(The USB CD is the first Boot media, the IDE the second).

But I don't know how to eject the USB CD from DOS.
I need some DOS utility or information of a useful DOS BIOS call.
