I have a computer where the Windows Firewall exceptions are unique and
extensive. I want to copy the setting to another computer so I don't have to
manually recreate the settings. I know it should be done in AD but this is a
unique situation. How can I copy my FW exceptions to another PC?

I don't know of a built in way but though I have not tried it myself you
could try importing the registry settings from one computer into another via
a .reg file and be sure to do this on a test computer first and backup the
current registry key on the test computer first also. The settings in
question would be in
HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\sharedaccess\parameters\firewallpolicy\standardprofile\
where you will see categories depending on what you want to copy. The link
below shows how to use .reg files. You may need to reboot or restart the
firewall service to see changes take effect. --- Steve
