Hello,

Can anyone out there tell me how to make a copy of a
floppy disk file to c:\disk? Everytime I try to make a
copy using My Computer, a box comes up in the process that
tells me to confirm which disk and disk drive I want to
use for the copy, but there is no option for using c:\disk.
All there appears to be is another floppy disk to copy to.
How bizarre.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Here's one easy way: Go to My Computer, double-click on the C:drive, then
double-click on whatever folder you want to use. You should have one window
open, and you may want to resize to allow room for another window. Then
open the floppy drive -- which may open automatically when you insert a
floppy, or you may want to go to My Computer and then double-click on the
floppy drive. You should now have two windows open. Right-click on the
file on the floppy disk that you want to copy and select "copy"; go to the
foler in Drive C that you have selected, left-click to "activate" it, then
right-click and select "paste." It's actually faster to accomplish than to
type the instructions!
