Copy files to another computer

Computers are networked. I have shared the folder on the PC I want
tocopy to. From my computer I go to Workgroups and can see the folder
that I shared. When I try to copy photos from my PC to the folder that
I shared on my wife's PC I get a message that the file may be in use
or the disk may be full. Neither is true.

Why when I go to my wifes computer to the folder that I shared (Has a
hand under it) and I right click to properties it says read only.

I know that I have copied files to that PC from mine before. I don't
know of anything that has changed except maybe that I am using Sygate
Fire wall. My wifes PC has Windows fire wall.

A: What is your operating system (XP home, pro or 2000)
B: Have you tried sharing the folder with the photo's and then copying
them to the folder when you are using your wifes pc?

Both machines have XP Home. I can see my wifes computer via the
workgroup but when I go to her computer she cannot get to mine. Gets a
message that the system administrator needs to do something,
