I have a laptop with XP Pro on the road, and my office PC is situated behind
a Cisco PIX firewall in my office (also running XP pro).

I'm trying to copy files from my laptop (currently in France) to my disk
drive in the office. The process fails with an "access or disk-full"
message.

I can copy files FROM my office PC to my laptop without problems.

I have granted read/write security rights to a single directory on my office
machine, specifying "Everyone", "Remote Users', etc -- with no luck.

What's the key to making this work?

Specifying everyone with read/write access to the folder should work though
you should change permissions to only the users allowed such access after
the problem is resolved. Try copying a file on the office computer from some
other directory to the directory in question to see if that works or not.
Check the disk properties to make sure that the disk is not almost full.
Check the security and application log on the office computer via Event
Viewer to see if any error/warnings/logon failures occur at the time you try
to copy the files. --- Steve
