Hi,

I have an application that has several command buttons.
I want to create some additional forms and cut some of
the command buttons from existing forms and paste them
onto the new forms. It won't let me do this. Do I need
to recreate all of my buttons again or am I doing
something wrong.

Thanks,

Chuck

Providing that you have them both open in design view you should be able to
copy and paste buttons from one form to another. This won't copy the code
behind those buttons though. You would have to do that as a separate step.
What do you mean by "It won't let me..."?

The best way that I have found to copy the buttons AND the
code is to actually copy the form to be the basis of your
new one and then delete everything that you don't need and
reset the record source if needed. This will retain the code
on the buttons.
