hi,

i want to include emotions in a word document how do i do this?

i followed the following insturctions from Jonathan Kay

"The icons are located in Documents and Settings\Username\Application
Data\Microsoft\MSNMessenger\anumber\CustomEmoticons.

Where username is your Windows username and anumber is an integer
representation of your e-mail address (just go through them all if you have
multiple accounts). Although they show up as .DAT files, they'll either be
PNGs (for static emoticons) or GIF (for custom animated ones in MSN Messenger
7.x)."

Got that far...
but i'm stuck at

"What I normally do to locate one of these that I want is to open up an
Internet Explorer window, and then drag each file into IE to be displayed (no
renaming required). After you've found the one you're looking for, you can
copy it elsewhere and rename it to the correct format. "

I hope i didn't violate any law by reposting it just wanted to show what
steps i took. Please help

Thank you,

Greetings,

Which part don't you get? Just open up Internet Explorer and drag one of the DAT files into
the Internet Explorer window.

You'll see what I mean :)

However, there may be an easier way to do what you're trying to accomplish -- which emoticons
are you trying to get into the Word document (the built-in ones, custom ones, etc.)?
