I need to copy and paste a sheet from one workbook to another. The sheets
already exist and I know how to do this with VBA. The file to be coppiced
from is on a thumb drive in a folder and the file the sheet is being copied
to is on my C: drive.
Questions:
1) Is it possible to copy from the source file without opening it?
2) Several files will be on the thumb drive each starting with a two
(2)-digit number. The rest of the file name will contain dates and other
information that makes them different. Is it possible to somehow use only
the 1st two (2) letters of the file name to open it, as within the folder it
is unique?
Thanks in Advance.
