Copy cells, but not continous?

I want to copy and paste some data from cells that essentially are
subtotals. In others wrods I only need the summary data and not all the
other cells that make up that summary. I though I could hold down the
control key while copying but that didn't work.

Can anybody help?

You should be able to hold the Ctrl key, select the subtotal cells,
copy, and paste. What happened when you tried that method?

If you put your subtotals into a separate column would that help ?

Certainly easier to select/copy ... you might need to rearrange once
they are where you want em tho :)
