I'm fairly new to Computers and have just been shown how to 'copy and paste'.
If I 'copy and paste' a suspect link(in e-mail) to my address bar, would
that way be safe for me to open in address bar.
Have been shown how to copy and paste Licence Numbers, etc, very handy.

If it is suspect - the best course of action is to delete the entire email
like it never happened.

If any link in an email look suspect then don't even think of clicking on
it, just delete the email. Copying and pasting it to the address bar will do
exactly the same as if you had clicked on it in the email.

If the link is to a malicious web site, it doesn't matter at all how
you get to that site--double-clicking and copy and pasting will have
the same result.

If you fear that the site is malicious, stay away from it completely.

If you hover your mouse over the link and if the link is false, you will see
the actual website shown above the fake one. By using certain coding, one
can change the actual website to anything he or she wants.
