When burning music CDs on my laptop with Windows XP, they can be opened and played on other computers but not on home CD players because the CD burner does not support the program that is normal for home CD players. Where or how can I download this program, unfortunately, I forget the name of the program but this must be a common problem with Windows XP. All this burner wants to do is copy with MP3 format.
On my Windows 98 program, with a CD/RW installed, it copies music fine for use with home CD players.

Hi Skipper,

The built in WinXP CD burner only knows how to write data CDs. To make music CDs, you need something like EasyCreator, Nero or
RecordNow.
