copy all items from subcalendar into main calendar

I have a fairly large sub-calendar in Outlook 2002. I
need to move and/or copy those calendar items to the main
calendar in order to share it with others. I have
attempted to export them and then import but it creates
another subfolder. If I uncheck to include subfolders it
does nothing at all. I have also tried to change the
view to 'by category' and copy them to the calendar but
it creates one new calendar item with all the
subcalendar's items in the body of the appointment.
Is there any way to bulk move calendar items to another
calendar?

Change the view on the subcalendar to one of the table views like "By
Category" then press CTRL+A to select all and drag/drop them onto the main
calendar.

It wouldn't let me- too many items. Thanks though, I did
it in 50 item chunks and it worked.

In Outlook 2003 there doesn't seem to be a way to view all your calendar items in a list format (such as "by category" as suggested). However, you can select the sub-calendar (or the calendar of an imported .PST), go to Advanced Find, don't specify any criteria, and start the Find. You will get a list of all calendar items. Simply select all and drag them to your main calendar. I used this technique to import from Outlook 2000.

Sure there is, as in all versions of Outlook -- View | Arrange By | Current View
