Copy Administrator profile -- Help ???

I have my Windows 2000 set up using the Administrator account as my main log
in account that I use every day. From a security standpoint I know that is not
a good thing to do, also if I happen to mess something up I may not be able to
log in that profile.

I established another profile, I then copied the Administrator profile over to
it. All is fine except two things that I need help correcting.

I can not access windows encrypted files from the new account, how can I have
access to those files and directories I encrypted from my Administration
account?

Some of the software registration doesn't work from in the new account, it
wants me to re-enter the registration information but when I do, the settings
I have established in the software doesn't take effect. How can I get the new
profile to pick up all the registrations?

Thanks

How about just renaming the administrator accoutn this should give you a
relative margin of security. People would first have to guess your account
name you are using then guess the password.
