Hello,
How can I copy my personal address book from work computer
to home computer?
Thanks,
Jim.

What I did was export my address book to the desktop and
saved it there. Then I just saved the file to a disc and
inserted it onto the other computer's desktop. Then I went
to the new computer's email and imported it. I'm sure
there's a better way but it worked for me.

Are you truly using a Personal Address Book (not likely unless you're
connected to an Exchange server) or do you mean the contents of your
Contacts folder? Later versions of Outlook don't use a Personal Address
Book; they use the Outlook Address Book which is just another view of one or
more Contacts folders.

Hello,
I go to my Address Book and select Personal Address Book
in "Show names from the:" filed. I see I have addresses I
defined there. Can I export this and import it another
outlook? What I am trying to accomplish is that: I have
many addresses in outlook 97 in global list at work and I
need to select some of them and import it to outlook
express 20002 ate home. How can I do that?
Thanks,
Jim.

The only way I know of to do this (and there may very well be other ways)
would be to import the contents of the .PAB into your Contacts folder in
Outlook at work, then export the contacts to a Comma Separated Values file
(.CSV), which can then be taken home and imported into Outlook Express
there. Take a look at the following article for detailed instructions for
migrating a .PAB file to the Contacts folder:

http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/olconpab.htm#plan3

That link takes you to a specific section of the article -- you'll need to
scroll up when it tells you to follow "Steps 1-5 under Plan #2".
