These crooks ended up selling one of my offices three toners for $300
each when they normally cost 80. I didn't find out about it till 40 or
so days later. They won't take the product back. It's unused and new in
the box. I'm not paying these idiots. Anyone else heard or dealt with
them. I googled them and found a bunch of BS links and pointer ad
pages.
for some reason (i do not use laser) that the entire generic ink/toner
relabeler market needs to become more professional. there does appear
to be many fly by nights in this business. while there may be a few
that are ok it is very difficult to tell them apart.

Was this a tele-marketing scam? Your problem is not with Capital Imaging,
but with the idiots in the office that fell for their line of BS. My guess
is that someone bought them and got a free gift or tickets to a ball game.
You have to have some rules as to who is authorized to make purchases. It
there a written PO?
It would also help if you posted the full name and location of the company.
There are quite a few in the US with the name Capital Imaging, and some are
very legit.

An appalling situation.
Please do not assume that this means that all toner cartridge remanufacturers
are like this. The majority are exceptionally honest and competitive, they will
do whatever it takes to earn their customer's respect.
Tony
$300.00 for each cartridge that only cost $80.00 each.
How could this have happened. Know won checked the regular price? It's
hard to believe this company would go around and market thier product
for almost 4 times the regular price and get anyone to buy it.
I am sorry...but a fool and thier money soon parts.
If in the US, contact your local BBB and the attorney general's office
for your state. I can't speak specifically about this company, but this
type of scam with toner and cartridges is very common and the state
attorney generals usually help in these matters.
I was in the same boat. First someone calls and asks what type of
copier you have in your office. Then, a few days later (in an
apparently unrelated call) you are told that the company from whom you
get your toner will not be providing it any longer and then they say
they will provide the toner at low price. The next thing you know you
have this toner costing 4 time more than normal and a bunch of annoying
calls for payment. I eventually handed it to the UPS guy and said "we
don't accept this". UPS delivered it back to the crooks (though it had
be gathering dust for weeks in my office).
