Keeps coming back. Is there anything I can do to delete
this piece of crap??? I run MS Anti, S&D, and CWShredder
and still it returns even if I unplug my internet
connection, run the above software multiple times and reboot.

Dear Bill,

You need to do something. I am now running almost
exclusively Firefox because the malware writers have
concentrated on you. You may not think it fair - I won't
get into that, but it is a reality. I am using less and
less of your products. First IE, next MS IM. I'm
switching over my Hotmail address to an identical Gmail
one. I've cancelled my msn service.

DO I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION?

Very Truly Yours,
Gnadfly

I'm not aware of that Bill reading these groups.

I do think you have his attention, though--that's why this product exists,
and others that will appear later this year.

Soon enough? Let us know.

CoolWebSearch is a constantly mutating major nuisance. The best tool to
diagnose it is HijackThis, and expert advice. HijackThis shows all possible
traces of software, anything that MIGHT be malware, and lets an expert
identify the bad stuff manually.

HijackThis http://www.tomcoyote.com/hjt/

Create a separate folder for HijackThis, such as C:\HijackThis - copy the
downloaded file there.

Then, run HijackThis ("Scan"). Do NOT make any changes immediately. Save
the HJT Log.
