Is anyone using the Cooler Master CAC-T05 case? I just built a system with
it, and I can't get the front panel to fit over the DVD drive. The only way
I can see to put the panel back on is to remove the drive and put it through
the opening after I put the front panel on. Is that right? Hopefully
someone can tell me there is a better way that I am missing.

Thanks,

Jack

I don't know about the cooler master case, but that's kind of common. You
generally install the optical drive by pushing it through backward from the
front of the case. -Dave

Well, I never had to do that before, but thanks for the info.

Hi Jack,

With that particular case, you perform the preliminary stuff with the front
panel off, such as removing the mesh drive bay bezel covers and/or the
temporary metal plate that might be over the intended drive bay. Then, you
have to pop the front panel back on BEFORE sliding the new drive into the
case from the front. That's the one little idiosyncratic thing about this
case, besides the default front 80mm intake fan being a noise maker; I'd
also replace it with a quieter fan, and use rubberized grommets for the fan
as well.

Could you please recommend a brand that makes quiet 80mm fans?
