A small utility for removing CoolWebSearch (aka CoolWwwSearch,
YouFindAll, White-Pages.ws and a dozen other names).
Spybot S&D tends to forget essential parts of the hijack,
so until it updates, you can just this to completely remove the hijack.
Updated to remove the new variants once they come out.</quote>

Unzip the tool, ensure that all your IE/OE Windows are *closed*
hit the executable and follow the prompts.

You are *strongly urged* to use these tools, they are MS-MVP
tested and safe.

If anyone has questions, feel free to ask -

Regards,

Very much so...if you don't use spyware tools and anti-hijacker
tools...do not wonder why weird things happen to your browser and your
online speed drops.

Mr. O'Sullivan,

siljaline is a well-known, highly regarded, frequent commenter in this,
and several other, MS ng's.

Short answer: Yes.

There are links from this page that allow you to see a list of the names of
the MVP's. Unfortunately, Siljaline's alias isn't in the list--just his
real name, so he isn't easily found to verify--but he's real.

<vbg> You know how to let me know the date, unless with all the fiddling
you've been doing lately you lost my addy <g>
Joan

Actually Joan, I shaved the beard off earlier. 27th though. But I'm sure you
already know the so-called historians were wrong about the date, though I'll
not quibble over a couple of days.
