Many sites will not even load unless your cookie security
is set to 'allow all cookies'. By default xp sets the
cookie security to medium. If you trust the site, you can
simply slide the slider from medium right to the bottom
to allow all cookies and then return it to medium again
after you have viewed the site. The choice, really, is
yours. I personally allow all cookies, but then they are
deleted after i log of from the web each day. If you are
worried about cookies spying on your web movements then
download a program called spybot search and destroy from
www.safer-networking.org/
This will search and destroy any spying robot cookies.
You could also use an appliaction called spy sweeper
http://www.webroot.com This will not allow spyware onto
your pc.
You should also make sure your anti virus is up to date
and your firewall is active.
