Just wondering- I know I read it somewhere before;but can't find it now. Why did MS decide not to include identification of "cookies" in Defender?

I do not know why Microsoft does not want to identify tracking cookies
with WD. I personally don't see them as a threat; better concentrate on
real spyware. There are plenty of applications that quickly remove
cookies without lengthy scans, e.g. browsers, or Ccleaner (with Ccleaner
you can specify what cookies you want to keep).
