is it possible that a website can see whether your a
frequent webpage viewer by just the cookie because i
usually visit a webpage everytime and never gotten a pop
all of a sudden i got two pop-up in two day about surveys.
i found that annoying speccially. some of them is in
flash base pop-up so pop-up blocking is useless and won't
detect them at all.

if that's the case then i would like a cookie tracking in
MSAS beta 1.

Yes. Every time you visit the site they can index a counter in the cookie.

Pop-ups are built into the HTML source code for the page.

They have little, and quite possibly nothing, to do with
cookies.

A web site can use pop-ups and not even store cookies on
your system.
