Having trouble with cookies. No matter how many times I set the privacy setting to low, it always goes back to the default. Also, whenever I try to input a specific site for it to allow cookies on, IE crashes

Specifically on the www.schwab.com website when I try to log in it just kicks right back to the log in page. Schwab support said I needed to enable cookies, which is what I've been trying to do. It just will not take

Under the "General" tab I hit the delete button in the TIF section and also cleared the history. I reset to defualt under security. Under programs I hit Reset Web Settings. Under Advanced I hit Restore defaults. I hit apply then ok and restarted. Then when in to adjust the privacy slider to low, but it just will not stay there
I cleared out both the Temp folder in Windows and the Temporary Internet Folder-then restarted
I deleted all installed IE objects then restarted

I'm running ME and IE 6.0.2800.11061

Look forward to any ideas

Thanks
Scot

.

Try Internet Options>Edit>"Type www.schwab.com">Allow>Ok.

Thanks, but I had already tried that (but tried again), and it just causes IE 6 to crash.
