Converting Word to Word Perfect

How do I convert a Word document to Word Perfect (Core;) 8? I do not know what version of Word it is. Thanks. Pamela
 
There are three different routes you can take to get from Word to WordPerfect

1. Probably the easiest way is to try opening the document in WordPerfect. I'd be surprised if there isn't an import filter for Word docs in WordPerfect

2. Open the document in Word, select Save As from the File menu, and in the Save As Type list, select one of the WordPerfect options. This assumes that you've installed all of Word's export filters

3. Open the document in Word, select Save As from the File menu, and in the Save As Type list, select Rich Text Format (*.rtf). Open the .rtf file in WordPerfect
