Converting Video Files

Alrighty. So I made my first video ever right? [yes, i know. sad.] ANYWAYS.
i'm trying to figure out how to make it able to load on "stuff" like youtube.
but i don't know how to convert the file. it wont let me load the video into
Windows Media Player, or itunes or anything else for that matter.. PLEASE
help. oh and another question. k my video is clips from the OC with the song
better than me - hinder.. i was wondering, at the beg. of the video, i want
their to be talking. but then i want the music to come in. which i have that
so far. BUT. i want it so the end and in the middle i can hear the talking,
but i dont want the whole movie to be talking from the people.. thats VERY
confusing. TRY and understand it, please, you'll be my hero <3.

Sounds like you may be referring to the
..mswmm project file. To save your project
in a movie format read the following:

To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next / Next.
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

To save as an .avi movie file...
(and several other options)
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Show More Choices /
Other Settings /
Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /
Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

As for the "talking" if you are saying you
would like to add your voice to the project,
you need a microphone and use the
Narration option in Movie Maker. Just go to
Tools / Narrate Timeline. When you finish
the narration you will have the option to
save it. Then import the saved file into
Movie Maker and drag it to the Audio/Music
track on the timeline.

If you are saying you would like to "Mute" certain
portions of the sound...just use the "Split" tool
to "Cut" the movie in the timeline before and
after the section you wish to mute. Then right
click that section and choose Mute. Also...
you can make a split by typing Ctrl+L when the
movie is playing or paused.
