Hi, I have a linksys BEFSR41 Router that allows my pc and laptop to
share my broadband comcast connection. I want to get a wireless
connection between them. I will havbe to get a wireless NIC for the
Desktop and Laptop I assume, however, what is the easiest way to
convert the linksys router to wireless? Should I get a wireless hub to
connect to router w/ to wireless NICs? Brands?
Thanks

If it works the way it is, I wouldn't spend money to break it.

If for some reason you NEED to go wireless, replace the router with a
wireless router.
Plug the closest computer into it by cat5 and add a wireless card to the
other machine.
But, wired is still the best and fastest way to go. If it ain't broke,
don't fix it.

Well, wireless routers are so cheap, a better solution would be to get
a new router that has wireless capability. The router will probably
not cost any more than a wireless access point. And as for the
desktop, why go wireless? Just locate the router close to the desktop
and hard wire the desktop to one of the router LAN ports. You will
need a wireless PC NIC for the laptop. Most, if not all wireless
routers have at least two hard wired LAN ports.
