Converting to RAID 0

I have installed WD 120GB SATA hard drive installed and would like to add an
additional identical one and convert to RAID 0 on both drives. My
motherboard is a ASUS P4P800 that supports RAID 0.
Can this conversion be done without loosing any data on the original hard
drive.

No, you'll have to back it up first.

That's a bit of a risk too, having 240GB in a RAID 0 running from a
motherboard controller. I'd get a couple drives and keep one of the
three as a single-drive backup.

I disagree,i'm running two 120gb sata seagate hd's running RAID 0 for the
last 5 months without a single problem.

Of course it works fine until it fails, is your risk to take. It may
not seem (subjectively) to be a large risk, but multiple times higher
than usual, and 5 months isn't very long.

If you've never had a drive fail then you've either been very lucky or
haven't had very many drives.... you want to restore systems or lose
data > 2X as often? Apparently so.
