Converting SHOW file

I saved a powerPoint file in the "show" (.PPSX) version and emailed it to
colleagues. Since then I had a disk failure and lost the original file.

Is there any way to convert the show version back to an editable ppt file?

Simply open up PowerPoint and then choose Open File from the Office Button.
Select your .ppsx file and open it. It will open in Normal/Edit view. If you
want to convert back to a .pptx file, just do a Save As (from the Office
Button) to save as a .pptx file.
