Converting projects from Programmer's Work Bench (PWB)

I am suprised more is not said about this. My Visual .Net will give failures trying to convert the Visual C++ 6.0 project file I had to convert in a "manual" method

Here is more on this. In Visual .Net ask to convert my Visual C++ 6.0 project file "---.dsp", to the current version of Visual C++ project format (this is .NET). I say go ahead and convert. I receive several "unspecified errors". I continue through this. A project seems to be displayed. I try to save and exit. I receive that the "---.suo" was not written successfully.

We have done this several times. We end up doing a "manual" conversion of the project
