Converting old labels to categories

Hello group,

Does anyone know if there is a way to convert labels to categories in
the calendar in Outlook 2008?

In Outlook 2003 I created calendar entries and attached labels. I have
now imported the PST to Outlook 2008 and will be using categories for
the same purpose. I would like to be able to move the old items over
to using categories, once I have defined them all. Is this possible?

I just added categories whose names and colors matched the labels I was
using.
 
What about doing this by VB scripting? Is there anything out there
already?
