I need a movie edited in Movie Maker to be a different file type, but the
only one I can get in the options while saving is .wmv or whatever. I need
to be able to save it as avi, mov, wav, mpeg, or mpg. How do I accomplish
that?

===================================
To save as an .avi movie file...
(and several other options)
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Show More Choices /
Other Settings /
Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /
Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

John's said how to save as dv.avi.

Microsoft won't ever make a MOV - apple file.

Don't know why you want an audio file along with all your video ones, but
you can just save the audio. Save the movie as a wmv or dv.avi. Open new
project. Drop new file onto just teh aduio track, save as wma.

XP has no mpeg functiuonality, so you need to save as dv.avi and then use
your dvd authoring sftware to do this.
