yes I would also be interested becasue I understand an avi file is more
user friendly. I tried a search and most download software have so many
limitations. One would only convert 5 minutes of the video. another
would brand "unregistered" all over the video.

This should mport into any authoring software such as nero/roxio/windvd
creator or whatever came with your dvd qwriter adn this will make your dvd
and encode the avi to the suitable mpeg and then vob files for you.
