converting files

David,

The MSWMM file is the MM2 project file and it's not a video file..... it's
something only MM2 can use.

In MM2, with the project file open, "save the movie file" and you'll have
options that include DV-AVI (and WMV). For MPEG you need to use other
software and convert the movie that you saved in MM2.

See the CD Burning and DVD Software sections of www.papajohn.org for more
info about getting your MM2 movies to discs.

PapaJohn,
I see many people, including yourself use Sonic MyDVD for
conversion. Does Sonic convert both DV-AVI and MWV to
MPEG? For final burn to DVD, its best to save as DV-AVI
correct? I've been playing with USB streams and saving as
MWV format.

Thanks again
Steve

Yes to both Steve,

MyDVD version 4.5 handles both WMV and DV-AVI files as inputs, but DV-AVI
gives you a slightly better DVD.... and sometimes it's hard to tell the
difference.

My choice of MyDVD was easy; it was included on my laptop when I bought it.
