converting chinese XP to english?

i recently bought an ibm laptop overseas knowing that it
includes winxp in chinese. i would like to, however change
this to the american english display as i do not read
chinese very well... is there a conversion tool that i
can 'patch' so i can understand what i'm reading?

Hi,

No, you would need to purchase and clean install an English (full) version
of WinXP. You can install english support for some things, but not for the
core system.
