Converting BMP files back to JPEG

Bring them up in a viewer, then click FILE|SAVE AS.

At the bottom, choose the .jpg file type.

Here's a fine, free viewer that displays and converts most file types...

you can just use paint to convert them back to jpg files you already have it
installed under accessories
