Converting ATA drive to IDE

Is there an adapter that will allow me to install a Serial ATA drive
with an IDE cable? My girlfriend accidentally purchased a new ATA drive
but we need one that's IDE.

Please quote at least some of the post to which you are replying. This
preserves thread continuity and in your case, enables the rest of us to
protect the Original Poster from your normally terrible advice.

Better idea - find something else to do with your time besides giving
wrong and sometimes dangerous advice to people who need real help.
