I am trying to export as much data as possible from my
ACT v6.0 database and then import it into Outlook 2003.
I can do all the operations of exporting and importing
but Outlook seems to think the data file is made up of
one huge field rather than many small fields when it gets
to the point of mapping the ACT data into Outlook fields.
I can get Outlook to map it right automatically every
once in a while if I only use the first 10 or so records
from the exported data but when I try to use the whole
file's worth of data, it wants to show most (not all) of
the importing fields as one field then a few of the rest
of the fields as individual fields.
If anyone has had a similar experience and gotten around
it somehow, I would appreciate hearing how you did it.
Thanks.
