Converting a 2003 Access Database to a 2007 Version

At my work, we have an Access database that was created in 2003 version.

And now we have a new employee with Microsoft 2007 on her computer and she
is unable to use the Access Program. I am guessing because it is an old
version.

Is there an easy way to either convert the database or do i need to do
something else?

Any advise is appreciated!! thanks
 
Hi Bonnie,

If you are sharing an unsplit Access application, then the first user to
open the database will affect things for other users. If the first user
happens to be an Access 2003 user, then your new Access 2007 user will only
be able to open the database in read-only mode. Conversely, if your new
Access 2007 user is the first one to open the database, then all 2003 users
will only be able to open the database in read-only mode. This is just one of
the many reasons that shared Access applications should be split into two
databases: a "back-end" (BE) file that has the shared tables, and a
"front-end" (FE) file that includes all other objects (ie. all queries,
forms, macros, reports, modules and any unshared tables). A copy of the FE
application file should be installed on each user's local hard drive, so that
no two users ever have the same FE file open. This topic, and more, are
