Converting 97 database to 2003 database and implications

I have an Access database that was created with 1997 version. I want to edit
that database using 2003 version. If I do what the message says below, will
it affect access to the database that is on the server now? This particular
database is called 'Users', consists of 5 columns and 5 rows where I store
userid, username, password, and there are two more columns, one called
'bissuperadmin' and the other 'txuid'. In other words, in upgrading the
database, will that prevent someone from being able to log in? Access 1997
message: You can’t make changes to the database objects in the database
‘filesystem’. The database was created in an earlier version of Microsoft
Access. To convert this database to the current version of Microsoft Access,
close the database, poin to Database Utilities on the Tools menu, and then
click ‘Convert Databse’.

Yes. It will require that anyone using it have at least Access2000.
Access97 cannot open or use a database in Access2000 format, the
default format for Access2000, XP and 2003.

However, you can convert the database to 2000 format; edit it using
Access2003; and use File... Convert... Save as Previous Version to
generate an Access97 format database. Just don't use any features not
supported in 97, and *KEEP A BACKUP*.
