Hello,
I am new to the computer and I'm naturally having trouble.
When using Power Point I tried to open a file, .jpeg. I
got an error message that said, 'P.P. could not open
17.jpeg. A registered converter was not found and may need
to be reinstalled.'Could someone please tell me what a
registered converter is, and where I can go to get one?

I'm sorry to be asking such a dumb question, but I don't
know where else to go.

Thank you,

Michele B.

PowerPoint cannot open a .jpg file. you can open PowerPoint, and the insert your .jpg file, using the Insert | Picture | from file. then scroll to and select your .jpg image.
