Having upgraded from XP home edition to XP pro, I've found
that I cannot share a printer with other computers on my
home network (although I can share an internet connection).
Having tried all obvious options, I've decided that the
problem lies somewhere deep within XP Pro's security
settings. Is there a way that I can downgrade XP pro (with
SP2) back to home edition, removing all the complicated
security management so that I can simply share a printer?
I don't need all of Pro's bells and whistles (It is a
licensed copy provided by my employer to install on a home
PC) and would rather get back to the simpler days of Home
edition!
