Yes.
Start up Word. Navigate to File Open. Locate the file you want to open in
the tree structure and highlight it. Left click with the mouse. The import
converter should handle it without fuss.
You might have to touch up the formatting depending on which WP features
were used to create the document.
With complex documents, I find it often is preferable to open the document
in WP, Save it as Word 97/..... and then open that version in word.
If that does not work, you might have to re-run Office/Word install to
install the file converters needed.
Just my ideas. Someone else here might have a better procedure/method.
