Hi everybody.
a data base was totally developed in visual basics 6. the
programmer prefered it to access 2000. I would rather use
access, i am more familiar with it. I couldn't open the
forms with access but i could copy and paste the
modules . can it be done. please help.
Best regards to all

There are too many differences in the standard controls available in Access
and VB to be able to do a conversion easily. There are some products that
purport to be able to convert from Access to VB, but the general feedback is
that they do an incomplete job at best, and you're better off rebuilding the
form from scratch (salvaging the modules, of course, as you've already
alluded to). I've never heard of any products to go from VB to Access,
though.

Another post points out the difficulty.
Note that when you do copy the modules you should review them. Some of them
might be doing things already built into Access.
