I'm finding this either difficult to master, or buggy. I convert a
rectangular shape to a freeform shape. I add three points in hopes of
creating what we're calling a "notch," or point of negative space indented
into the shape. I want to work at 200% for accuracy, but at any zoom setting
of a higher percentage than "Fit to Window," every click and/or drag pops me
to the center of the slide, obscuring the spot at which I'm actually working.
Also, despite all snap settings being off, I find no way of being able to
move points smoothly. Points are still subject to a gravitational pull upon
click and drag, rendering them jumpy, and no key (it was Alt. in XP, right?)
appears to suspend this. Has anyone encountered this, or a way around it?
