Convert time to Value

Hello from Steved

Is it possible to convert 6:20 a.m. or 6:20 p.m. to 620
using the same convention 12:15 a.m or 12:15 p.m. to 1215
The above I want to value to be a number instead of time.

Thanks for your quick response.
Your formula is what I require but everthing pm ie 2:45
p.m. is 1445 I would like it to be 245.

any idea's.

Hmm...not sure what to tell you:

When I put in 3:35 pm, the formula returns 335.

Yes if I type in 3:35 pm I also get 335.
If I put your formula in using 3:35 p.m.it returns 1535
Thanks for your time on this query I now know what to do.
