I have an Access application which creates daily snapshot Inventory report
and saves to a remote location. In an Access form I create a link to those
archive reports so that user can open and view all the archive reports. The
end user also want to edit this archive Inventory reports in Excel. Is it
possible to convert Access Snapshot report into Excel format? If it is
possible can it be done using VBA. Thanks.

Paul,

No, it is not possible to access the data in a Snapshot file using
Excel, or anything else for that matter. It may serve your purposes to
daily export the data to an Excel file, using the same query that the
report is based on, at the same time that you do the Snapshot export.

It occurs to me that it may be possible, while viewing the report, to
print it to a text file, and then import it into Excel. I'm sure the
results would need a lot of fixing up, though.
