This may be a longshot, but if anyone knows, someone in this group
should...
Raindance (www.raindance.com) has a (freeware, apparently) player that one
can use to play back a recorded Raindance conference. This player plays
back .RMV files, both audio and video of the conference. Unfortunately this
means this player has to be installed on each machine which needs to view
the .RMV file.
If there's a way to convert an RMV file to a standard format such as AVI or
MPG or something that a standard media player (such as Media Player
Classic) could handle it would save having to install their player. A
search of Google hasn't turned up anything useful yet.
So, anyone know of such a beast? TIA, and (shouldn't need to be said, but)
freeware only please.
