A few weeks ago my hard drive crashed and I had to purchase a new one. They were able to save my files but when they did they read as "read only" documents. I thought by saving them to a new folder and saving them as a normal document that would take care of the problem. I must have done something wrong, because now I have to save one of the doucments to a cd and my system is telling me that I can't because it is a "read only" document. Help! What did I do wrong?

Were your files transferred via CD? All files on a CD are read-only and they
remain so when you copy them back to your hard drive. In Windows Explorer
right click the file or folder, select Properties from the popup, clear the
Read Only text box.
