Convert Powerpoint to DVD on Mac

I want to know how to convert a Powerpoint presentation to a DVD; I've read
all the suggestions but none of the downloads I've tried work for Mac, and
that's all I have

I thought that the Mac version of PowerPoint had a native 'save to DVD'
function, but I could be wrong as I'm a windows user - oh, are you using
windows on your Mac? If not try asking over on the Mac side:

Save to Movie, yes, but that produces a QuickTime movie, not anything that
can be burned directly to DVD.

But then a QuickTime movie can be imported into iMovie and exported into a
DVD format, or it can be imported directly into iDVD and burned to a DVD.

There are a few steps missing in these instructions. They include buying and
installing Windows in your BootCamp partition, buying and installing a
Windows version of Office, moving your file over to your Windows partition
and hoping it works properly in Windows, ... All that for something that can
be done freely and easily with tools that already come on the Mac.

As clear as it is, to me, that posts coming from Telstar or Alpha are
different... Alpha or Telstar is probably someone with a good video
knowledge, who has used/tested many PowerPoint to video converters, who has
no financial interest in promoting them and that has drawn his own
conclusions on the benefits of using one or another... and probably he could
explain those benefits with clarity if he thoughts about writing them with
clarity...

On the other hand... Telstar or Alpha is easily prone to use insulting
language...

Moyea's site?
